I ask you to respect,
Among you who labor;
Try never to neglect,
The toils of your neighbor.
To esteem them highly,
In the love of the Lord;
Never to be shyly,
Nor let them be ignored.
I urge you be at peace,
Admonish the idle;
Let hostilities cease,
Go forward not sidle.
Please encourage the weak,
Be patient with them all;
Helping them all to seek,
Picking up when they fall.
Repay no one evil,
Rather seek what is good;
Stop work of the devil,
Only do what you should.
You must rejoice always,
And pray without ceasing;
Give thanks through all your days,
Your faith is increasing.
Do not quench the Spirit,
Prophecies not despise;
For what you inherit,
Make you open your eyes.
But test everything,
Hold fast to what is good;
Because what it will bring,
What will be understood.
Now may the God of peace,
Sanctify His favor;
Upon you to release,
Blessings from your Savior.
For the One who calls you,
Surely who will do it;
When as faithful and true,
From all of your merit.
The grace of our Lord,
Jesus Christ be with you;
And stay in one accord,
So, He can help you through.
