Elevation

Beyond the mirror-like lake

Behind the towering pines

The rocky peaks awake

Equanimity softly quakes

Rest your sore and aching feet

The place where earth and heaven meet

No boulevards, no alley, or busy street

A majesty of rock and clay rise completely

Look upon the ranges see the Eagles home

A cliff of humble dwellings, born to roam

Look once more, where golden wings will soar

The land below will see us rise form the core

Birds of prey, winds of altitude, beauties magnitude

Look upon the footprints that explore, hear the lore

Untouched by civilization, a part of the realization

A part of natural habitation, in Mountains elevation
