Tears of a Nations
The sun could not penetrate the heavy debris
The towers folded to the ground, terror, and tragedy all around
Lady Liberty weeps to man's inhumanity to man
Many lives gone, many are permanently scarred.
The tears of a nation echo through time, heartless and heinous
Acts of crime, that so many still feel
For the fallen, and the lives saved by unsung heroes will not be forgotten
Grief and upheaval, some wounds do not heal the tears of a Nation
Of a loss so many still feel
The sun could not penetrate the heavy debris
The towers folded to the ground, terror, and tragedy all around
Lady Liberty weeps to man's inhumanity to man
Many lives gone, many are permanently scarred.
The tears of a nation echo through time, heartless and heinous
Acts of crime, that so many still feel
For the fallen, and the lives saved by unsung heroes will not be forgotten
Grief and upheaval, some wounds do not heal the tears of a Nation
Of a loss so many still feel
