 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Speak not against one another,
The one who speaks against judges;
It speaks evil of your brother,
With a mind that will hold grudges.

It speaks evil against the Law,
As well as the Law being judged;
In which is causing you a flaw,
Because others have been begrudged.

But if you are judging the Law,
Then you would not be a doer;
Rather as a cat with a claw,
While being a pursuer.

There is only one lawgiver,
Judge who will destroy or save;
Acquit as a deliverer,
Or convicting you as a slave.

Who are you to judge your neighbor?
Of all that they may say or do;
About their leisure or labor,
If everything has been true.

Come on now to whom you might say,
Today or tomorrow we will go;
Into a town spend a year to stay,
Profiting of what we may know.

You know not what tomorrow brings,
What is the profit that we gain;
What does it matter your life clings,
The knowledge from your growing pains.

For you are a mist that appears,
A little time then vanishes;
Think of all that your life reveres,
That your heart and mind banishes.

For that you ought to think and say,
If the Lord wills, then we will live;
To do this or that to obey,
Boasting on how He will forgive.

Boast to rejoice not arrogance,
So, whoever knows what is right;
For the wisdom and intelligence,
And being guided by His light.
