Confused and Sad

Confused and Sad                           Sept 16, 2019

Confused and sad hating life
Shaming our city with trouble and strife
Loyal to themselves and another king
Billy from Holland thats what they sing
Protesting against bigotry how strange can that be
Employment denied by the men of the sash
My school and the cross on my neck
no future at home for you or me
Stand up for Scotland we all can be free
Sectarian marches supporting the crown
Carrying a bible, some falling down
Drowning their sorrows praising the crown
I watched them march, how sad can it be
A bottle of wine and hatred for me
Free the people,Free our town
Ban the hatred, no more crown
confused and sad hating life
Shaming our city with trouble and strife
