Now this I say and testify,
That you have to no longer walk;
In the Lord to ever deny,
The ways that the Gentiles talk.
The futility of their minds,
Darkened in their understanding;
That entices as it spellbinds,
To what evil is demanding.
It alienates life from God,
Because of ignorance in them;
Hardness of heart will make you flawed,
And possible God will condemn,
The Pagans have become callous,
Ceded to sensuality;
Impurity with their phallus,
Exploring sexuality.
But that is not the way you learned,
Assuming that you heard of Christ;
Truth is what you should be concerned,
The reasons He was sacrificed.
Avoid the corrupted ego,
That was full of deceitful lust;
Allowing a spiritual flow,
Within Jesus Christ to put trust.
Renew the spirit of your mind,
Ridding of your dark desires;
And always be humble and kind,
Remember what God requires.
Put on a new self in your heart,
Created in resembling God;
True righteousness for a pure start,
Holiness to honor and laud.
So put away any falsehood,
Let each one of you speak the truth;
Doing only in what you should,
Without being rude or uncouth.
