Prepare your mind for action,
Be sober and full of hope;
The Lord is your attraction,
Till the day you meet please cope.
Set your hope full on His grace,
That will be brought on that day;
When He comes and will embrace,
Because you trust and obey.
As children obedient,
Conform not to the passions;
They will make you ignorant,
With all the trends and fashions.
He has called you be holy,
So be holy in your conduct;
Remembering Him solely,
The teachings He did instruct.
Remember you are holy,
Because the Lord is as well;
And your God one and only,
For within you He will dwell.
If you call Him as Father,
Who judges you for your deeds;
Christ is also your Brother,
Who will assure all your needs.
Ransomed from futile ways,
From sires you inherit;
For those who worship and praise,
Not just for your good merit.
For the precious blood of Christ,
Without blemish like the lamb;
Crucified and sacrificed,
And known as the great I AM.
Known before the foundation,
Of the world as it was made;
Manifested salvation,
For your sake since man decayed.
Who through Him are believers,
Who was raised up from the dead;
Gave glory to receivers,
Through their faith and hope instead.
The Word of the Lord remains,
And His Word is the Good News;
That confession wipes the stains,
If the holy life you choose.
