Angry Cow Syndrome
I heard that cows are ignorant
but I know this to be untrue
they are actually quite intelligent
with much more than the moo
Cows, highly complex socially
have alphas that rule the herd
the leaders, inquisitive totally
self confident and self assured
Cows do mourn the death
or separation from a loved one
they show devoted tears and depth
from memories, together spun
Cows can remember fifty plus
their relationships so prized
while pushy ones, who make a fuss
not accepted nor recognized
So next time that you see one moo
think twice of their intelligence
it might be they are thinking, too
of our own forlorn irrelevance
