Tattoo'd Broken Hearted
Yes, she was a vampiress of the night
an undead beauty of the nether world
her skin white waxen and cool to the touch
who's long silky hair danced in the moonlight
Her ruby red lips smirked a smile, revealing
two sharp teeth like porcelain, glistening
in the midnight hour and those black eyes
that were like onyx, and full of hell's fire
Our brief story began in a Belgian coffee shop
where we met and I was stunned by a gaze
that I couldn't resist, as if burned to the
inner core leaving me naked and helpless
She noticed I noticed her and quickly departed
and vanished into that thick Flanders night
mesmerized by her spellbinding magic and
radiance aglow, I decided to give chase
I pursued her down avenues and back alleys
her athletic prowess losing ground to me
only due to my sheer desperate attempt to
find the one who stole my beating heart
Without asking, and once caught, I wanted
to make everything right, to make amends
with the eternal gods in heaven and below
so I could gaze upon her bottomless eyes
I pleaded with her to take me as I am now
and to make me her ever loving concubine
but she turned away and began to tremble
she faced me again and I could see red tears
Streaming from a beautiful face of alabaster
I knew why then, without any spoken words
she had no intentions of turning me into her
to live undead among the living for eternity
To never have true love as we mortals do
she caught a taste at the coffee shop with me
and that was all she could ever have for now
because her disease was truly life eternal...
Tattoo'd broken hearted forever and ever
