Do not fear O land,
Be glad and rejoice;
The Lord is at hand,
Proclaim with your voice.
Things the Lord has done,
Fear not of your field;
Blest with rain and sun,
To reap a great yield.
Fear not of the beast,
The pastures are green;
Fruit trees for the feast,
Abundancy as seen.
Be glad dear child,
Rejoice in the Lord;
Not yet defiled,
Be in one accord.
God has given rain,
Cleansing of your sin;
No longer in pain,
That corrupts within.
You are full of grain,
Vats are full of wine;
Nothing done in vain,
And ready to dine.
For God will restore,
As lost in the past;
So no longer poor,
Enough to outlast.
With plenty to eat,
To be satisfied;
For your life complete,
A life justified.
God has dealt with you,
Not to be ashamed;
Telling what is true,
As you have proclaimed.
It shall come to pass,
God pours His Spirit;
Bestow on the mass,
What you inherit.
It shall come to pass,
Whosoever calls;
He saves from trespass,
When the darkness falls.
