Protecting Our Blindside The side away from
Which we're looking
Is the side the devil
Will attack...
But God will protect
Our blindside...
Because He always
Has our back.
We should always
Be prepared...
Because we will
Always be at war.
We're hated for the
Things we do...
But mostly just
For whose we are.
And if we belong
to Jesus...
We will be hated
To the max.
Every firy dart
That's thrown our way
Lets us know
We can't relax.
He tries retaliating
From our victories
By sudden and
Surprising measures.
Seems our discomfort...
Our distress...
Delights his
Perverted pleasures.
Yet our protection
From his tactics
Is in the power
Of Jesus' Name...
The pleading of
His Precious Blood...
Can surely thwart
The devil's game.
Prayer is an act
of bold aggression
Which the devil
Cannot stop...
Oh, he tries hard,
But Angels guard
Our prayers
Right to the Top.
When he knows he's
Been caught stealing...
And he knows he
Must pay back...
Up to seven times
He'll get upset...
Because his scheme
Has run off track.
So, we must be bold...
We must be brave...
When we're dealing
With the enemy.
And we must protect
Our blindside
When God gives us
The Grace to see.
