The righteous utters wisdom,
As his tongue speaks of justice;
Flowing down from the Kingdom,
Causing for common practice.
The Law of God in the heart,
As his steps will never slip;
Every word to impart,
Gently flowing from his lip.
The wicked watch the righteous,
Seeking to put him to death;
Being rude and contentious,
With every waking breath.
The Lord will not abandon,
Let not him be forsaken;
Because God is beholden;
All that was undertaken.
Wait for the Lord keep His way,
He will exalt you with land;
Cut off the wicked that stray,
Contradicting His command.
I have seen a ruthless man,
Spreading himself like a tree;
Trying to persuade his plan,
That will be making you free.
He passed away was no more,
Though I sought could not be found;
He went to the fervid shore,
And made a tormented sound.
Mark the blameless and upright,
For the future man of peace;
Who has remained in the light,
Righteousness that will not cease.
Transgressors shall be destroyed,
As the wicked shall be blocked;
The righteous be overjoyed,
Because their door will be locked.
Salvation of the righteous,
Is coming down from the Lord;
Be priceless for its purchase,
For being in one accord.
The Lord helps deliver them,
Delivers wicked to save;
He does not want to condemn,
Those no longer as a slave.
