The mill(part6) Football at Midnight.

It's summer time the nights are hot. People asleep but we are not. The work is hard we need to rest. We don't know what to do for the best. Into the night we spinners toil. Are clothes covered in dust and oil. It's twelve o clock time for a break. We are tired but need to stay awake. I know what to do I call. Let's go to the yard and play football. Now most of us were just young boys. The last thing on our mind was we might make noise. Make noise we did and soon we would pay. We had forgotten the houses across the way. Lights came on in a floodlights display. We could be seen as if it was day. A few choice words were uttered that night. As we all ran away and got right out of sight. We thought it was over no more would be said and I thought no more of it as I went to bed. Got to work the next evening summoned to the canteen. Boss says you've been playing football and some had been seen. We all said we were guilty of playing football. He was not leaniant and suspended us all.
