Can any living soul alive on earth today
Speak of what passed generations knew
Of for unstance even coal miles deeper
Within our earth still there waiting true..
Used longer than today any could know
It built countries ran steam engines too
That never broke down unlike today's
Just relyable doing as then built to do..
Coal was longer ago a power needed
And with half a political brain today
It could solve all this rubbish debated
If simply used as then in so many a way..
Climate change just more imagination
One thing needed is a lot of going back
People had work were healthier as well
Not all that far back down life's track..
Even farmers had farms and could survive
Before greed bigger tractors raping earth
I've worked farms one town to the next
Not a single tree seen from girth to girth..
They now cry drought more now so true
Passed generations managed carried on
They knew drought too but planted trees
And knew water was down there all along..
So much talking total garbage these days
Few of them ever did a solid day's yakka
Back when farmers under a tree billy tea
And said tomorrow ok and rolled tobakka..
Keep the coal keep men working always
As they did before not so very long ago
Go back to when the earth had a chance
With trees old power smaller farms it's so..
Homes grew all needed and tank water
Collected from the rain Water boiled too
Way less bills by far than you have today
And a future way more souls they knew
Anyone remember LIVE AND LET LIVE
didn't think so
