I must go on boasting,
Having nothing to gain;
A feast Christ is hosting,
Celebrating His reign.
For I have a vision,
Of His revelation;
Ending the division,
Gives a new foundation.
I know a man in Christ,
Which was sent to Heaven;
What He was sacrificed,
God knows what was given.
For I know that this man,
Taken to paradise;
According to the plan,
For us had paid the price.
Because He had heard things,
That can never be told;
From our tongue that brings,
As the plan does unfold.
For this man will still boast,
As one will I glory;
Urged by the Holy Ghost,
In telling the story.
If I should wish to boast,
I would not be a fool;
Speaking the truth to toast,
Who will be His footstool.
I am speaking the truth,
Never refrain from it;
Never to be uncouth,
As said of my merit.
I am not conceited,
For surpassing greatness;
Satan is defeated,
Finding of His weakness.
In my flesh was a thorn,
From the Prince of Darkness;
By trying to transform,
He struck me with starkness.
Maybe I have been weak,
But the Lord makes me strong;
I continue to speak,
With the Lord I belong.
