Save the Earth

Don't let envy congregate on your street

Corner, don't let failure come a-knocking

At your door. Don't let idleness prevail,

Don’t let anger fill your sails, be the first

To hand a lifeline to the poor.

Don’t let greed become the shield of

Your ambition, don’t let jealousy betray

A darker side. Don’t let flattery invade,

Don’t let honesty escape, keep a

Constant regulation over pride.

Take a moment to reflect on what you’re

Doing, is that plastic bag essential to

Your needs? Should you really flush that

Towel, will it degrade or hang around, in

A sewer, on a beach, or underground?

Don’t let money pave the way to your

Destruction, don’t let wealth become the

Measure of your worth. Don’t let honour

Slip away, don’t let decency decay, be a

Voice, make a difference, save the earth.
