There are some lovely places to go and see
My favourite place on earth is beside the sea,
I also love the tranquil countryside
Here such serenity it does provide.
Over time I have lay on many a beach,
Been on a hill feeling the sky I could reach,
Those beautiful memories will stay with me
For those are places that I could feel free.
I used to dream of travelling far and wide
But as time went by I put these thoughts aside,
I thought long and hard and now I can see
They`re just places I thought I would like to be.
Of all the dreams that I may have pursued
From this there is one thing I can conclude
And it came to me just out of the blue
That what I was thinking was surely true.
The world does not hold the place I long to be
This has all become so very clear to me,
To be Inside someone`s heart is what I learned
Was the place for which I had always yearned.
