RAT ROUTES FOR RAT JOURNEYS


They boast of making roads,
But rat routes for rat journeys;
Go, see others make roads,
And flash their towns
And seal their lips.
To cooks and pits – shut now your mouth –
And stand upright and wake and live – to mortal lisps –
This is the truth.
