LAST TEARS

I wept my last tears yesterday
I see no more Egyptians here
That pain of building pyramids;
'Of my wife raped while I was slain
That pain will never be again

The sphinx I hate shall I not see
Forever and ever again
Those stones up there piled up by men
That worked, sweated and died by pain.

The whip that scattered all my back
By Egyptian taskmaster lords
The frustum that cut off our heads
Will no more be in all the realms

Would Egypt learn, I say again?
Would it be man enough to change?
I mean, Africa with hard head;
Hard heart that wait for bombing day?
