JUDGMEMENT

Judgment is laid on the line
Peace is taken off the hands
Of the enemies of our God
Who seek to strive with feeble hearts

It is at God they would fight
It is not man - His armor bank
Can wipe them away in a glimpse
Tell them it is God they fight.

Nor sense of men not know the same
The hardest pick, the nails and spikes
And what they trouble themselves about
Knocking their flesh and bleeding hard.

Suppose they knew! Their eyes are blind!
They do not know at what they fall
Their judgment is the term felt life
Which is a moment - and they die

To sign dead warrant of a man
Is to annex his weapons at
The God that formed and made the wind
Judgment will He but lay to the line

Count now the soldiers of the man
Count now the weapons of the man
Who stands against God to his end
And ask Edom how he did end.
