THE FAIR EXPENSE

The mind of man is all he needs
To break the rings and reign as king
But when he wants a yield beyond
The normal level, he must pray.

To tie my types upon a hill
And turn again the moral will
I have a song I have to sing
Things are not difficult to me

I know the one that knows the forms
Changes the realms and too the time
He stands by me, I never fear
He is my God, so I can't fail.

I will need to put in sweats – work
More than the worker does his
For when I cast a seed in the earth
The Lord my God will prosper it.

Offences that make some men to cry
Or that which taken away the soul
Or laboring before the flame
Is not my bargain; this I know.

Sure ways are there to make the end
I start with God, I end with God
I do not beg around some men
For God will bless my every yield.
