TALLER TRUTH

Taller Truth – hard for ears to hear
Sickening hearts beneath the vein
Much, what then should they but hear?
Questions above every weight.

Rehearse this before the Clark
Proud and waltons – sore and sad
Tell more then about their plight
Feats and peats and units and grits.

Much more then my merry song
To deliver in one much bunch
Words of rancor, thoughts of figure
Questions ever-burning Sun?

Sick and weak and tricked and kicked
Spilled his blood upon the floor.
Did you throw the dice before?
Don't you know why Christ was born?

Taller Truths – ephemerals.
Righteousness comes only from
God's own holy son who won
For us the victory trophy.

Taller Truths mock what I've done
Pick your pieces – fix them up.
Scattered puzzle ever missed –
Mystery of the ruinous sin.

Not for pride or anything
Else that bemoans me to now
Sadly stand before the lad;
Raise again immortal songs.
