WE DO REJOICE
We do rejoice; our wings are spread
To fly away to utter skies
To mountains far where live the wild
And every spot of freedom known
We do rejoice; we no more cry
We no more shed tears for our woes
It's all over; our tears, our sobs
Are now forgotten while we strobe
Rejoice, we do; there're no more fears
No more wild storms to scare our sail
We do rejoice; we leap for joy;
For joy that all the tears are o'er
Thank God for days like this that cheer
Our way and make us glad of heart
We were but drowned in troubles tough
But now we're free; we do rejoice!
