 THE TRAVELING LIFELONG BUSH POET

DOING IT ALL THE HARD WAY

Ever baby born on earth was born
With a psychic mind from day one
Only then it follows it's parents
And to them all what life has done

Babies watch parents so closely
And mostly wish to be as they are
How they handle diversities , life
Hoping doing so will take them far

Not knowing life teaches parents
All with problems of their very own
If both parents are of caring oneness
Or in many cases now divorced alone

At school teaches teach whats told to
Most classes taught as a single entity
From books arranged for each class
By high academics and universiyies

Children learn from T V and news
From politicians religions often too
Not untill they grow do they know
Of raceism other children all true

Many hidden messages in cartoons
Heroes they learn they always win
Unproven Gods that many worship
Of love and hate and of course sin

The richer children feel being poor
Is often below them not to associate
Poorer children they love everyone
Not yet learned of a thing called hate

Then at times some parents convince
Children they'er judged by their friends
Does'nt matter good or bad more often
Mix with the best around life's bends

Told a richer family  provides shortcuts
The poorer children learn from doing
Never talking as tounges out walking
From hard work and dreams pursuing

To study lots do doing all their chores
Get fit from hard work not the gym
Developing charactor pride honesty too
Of things richer children know not to win

Poorer children not into wars or killing
Telling anything just to something sell
Rather study well till exams are passed
Every school day untill a days last bell

So many poorer walk miles to school
Over rivers rope bridges heavy rain
Many third world schools none fools
And feel it's all worth all of the pain

Many presidents came from the poor
Inventers musicians builders so many
Teachers seldom preachers doctors too
That grew to teach many rich kids any

Poorer children always quiet and polite
Helping many along life's longest road
From mountains grand to seaside sand
Not of any of it to them any kind of load
