Many learning to remember
And others learning to forget
Looking back at better times
Times of happiness and regret
Those we loved so very long ago
Of others that coursed us pain
Times gone by memories never die
Still fall like the spring time rain
Something has them all remind us
When they are far from our mind
Taking us back so long ago to know
Things we thought we left behind
Often in an old song memories still
Take us back to times we often miss
Peace of mind we once so enjoyed
Those we loved so or a lingering kiss
When we were children life so grand
Each day an adventure not taken yet
And now we are learning to remember
And to forget often with at times regret
Then we surface finding here we all are
And the world we know it is no more
Human change not climate change
Seems as if it will never be for sure
The earth has had enough already
Natures karma so fed up as well too
Looking forward not to as if entertain
Our minds go back to times we knew
