Heaven declares the glory, The sky proclaims the beauty; Which tells a wondrous story, Of devotion to duty.
The handiwork that is shown, Day by day pours out its speech; Night to night reveals as known, The knowledge that we beseech.
There is no speech nor a Word, A voice goes out through the earth; From whose voice that is not heard, The end what the world is worth.
Christ comes out from His chamber, Like a bridegroom or strong man; Someone not to encumber, Running with joy in His plan.
Its rising is from the end, And its circuit in Heaven; Nothing hidden to offend, In which the Lord has given.
Law of the Lord is perfect, Making specific and wise; Testify not to reject, Reviving soul through the eyes.
Precepts of the Lord are right, For rejoicing in the heart; For enlightening the sight, The purity to impart.
The fear of the Lord is clean, As it endures forever; Unto your faith is unseen, Righteousness will not sever.
Be desired more than gold, Sweeter also than honey; As your reward will unfold, Worth more than all the money.
His errors who can discern, Declared innocent of faults; Salvation that I will earn, Secured hidden in His vaults.
Then I shall then be blameless, Innocent of transgression; That has now left me shameless,
God accepts my confession. Vote for this poem
