Spiritual Things

To be born again is the greatest
Spiritual experience ever known.
It's the truest form of kindness
That mankind was ever shown.

God let Himself be crucified
In the person of His Son
To forgive us of our evil deeds
So it was written, so it was done.

The Word of God can never lie...
It is God in written form.
We read we must be born again...
Born of the Spirit to perform

Our purpose on this fallen earth...
To perceive what lies in store.
It's our calling card to Heaven...
It's our spiritual threshing floor.

In Bethlehem, the Word made flesh
Was first seen in a cave...
And last when He triumphantly
Arose out of the grave!

So, we must follow His example
And be faithful to our word.
It's what our lives must be about
If we're expecting to be heard.

We must walk the walk and talk the talk
And let our light so shine
That spiritual things can be observed
In lives like yours and mine.

The honesty and truthfulness
Of the Christ was always seen.
Love was His greatest motive...
As should be our own routine.

We should constantly dig deeper,
Study harder, and pray more.
Until spiritual things are as much of us
As the Christ whom we adore.

Matthew 13:11
