Knowing the fear of the Lord, We are persuading others; What we are that we afford, To become our brothers. I do hope that it is known, As well as to your conscience; Not commending you alone, But persevere with patience. Those of appearance who boast, Not of what is in the heart; As cleansed by the Holy Ghost, Allowing for a new start. Being in our right mind, We are sober for the cause; For a confession will find, To reconcile your flaws. For the love of Christ controls, Because we have concluded; He died to save our souls, And your faith is included. Those who might live no longer, For themselves will live for Him; Are spiritually stronger, Because of Christ giving vim. Henceforth knowing of no man, After the flesh we knew Christ; With understanding His plan, Reason He was sacrificed. If anyone is in Him, He is a new creation; Filled with joy not feeling grim, Showing their appreciation. The old will have passed away, Behold the new has arrived; As one will trust and obey, Reconciled has revived.
