The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not desire; I listen to His Word, Gives what I require. I rest in green pasture, Leads beside still water; No care of the future, Or possible slaughter. He has restored my soul, Leading me down the path; His name sake in control, Sparing me from the wrath. I walk through the valley, Lurks the shadow of death; No fear the dark alley, Evil takes my last breath. I will fear no evil, He comforts with His rod; No fear of the devil, My shepherd is my God. He prepares before me, A table with my foes; Blessed oil they see, As my cup overflows. Surely goodness and grace, Shall follow all my days; As I feel His embrace, Dwelling with Him always.
