Santa and the elves have been busy indeed
Together they made the toys with such speed,
All wrapped in shiny paper, ribbon and a bow
Piled high on Santa`s sleigh just waiting to go.
The reindeers are restless they just want to fly
They have the transport on which the kids rely,
Santa has so many presents he must give out
He has so much work to do without a doubt.
No time to linger they must leave without delay
Santa on board now so it`s Up, Up and Away,
Into the night sky they soar so very high
The elves wave them off all shouting `goodbye`.
The children are asleep and totally unaware
As Santa drops off presents here and there,
Carrots and mince pies are always left out
He and the reindeers enjoy without a doubt.
As the night fades and it becomes daybreak
From their sleep the children will awake,
The magic of Xmas for both girls and boys
Has arrived as they unwrap their new toys.
Santa and the reindeers just made it in time
And back to the sky they once again climb,
Their destination now is back to The North Pole
Santa can relax now as Rudolph is in control.
