Supermarket Blues iii

The twit in the hat,
With the loud vocal style,
Stood in the supermarket
Blocking the aisle
As he enquired of his wife,
Partner, or friend,
Or whoever it was
On the other end
Of his ubiquitous
Mobile phone
(For with a mobile
You're never alone)

Which brand of baked beans
They thought he should buy.
Should it be the usual,
Or should he try
The stores own brand
Two P a tin cheaper
Should he experiment
Or should he dig deeper
And stick with their tried
And trusted choice,
And all of this said
In a loud booming voice.

He looked at me as though
I was some dirt on his shoe
As I said my dear sir please
Will you let me through.
Being truly British
I swallowed my pride
Patiently waiting until
He'd moved his shopping aside.
He really annoyed me
That inconsiderate ass
I should have rammed myTrolley
Right up his  Khyber Pass.
