Grateful & Thankful To You, Lord Jesus
Before I was born, you knew me
When I wanted to give up
You gave me a reason not to
For You are perfect
When I'm reminded of my mistakes
When I feel like I've failed again
You tell me not to look in the past
For You want me to put my trust in You
My trust is in You always
For You are faithful
When I'm overcome with grief
You come to comfort me
There's not a river of water that's too wide
Nor is there an ocean that's too deep for You
No matter where I'm at, there You'll be
For there's nothing impossible for You
You loved me first
Therefore I can also love
No matter what the storm brings
You'll help me get through it
Lord Jesus, You are perfect
I'm not perfect by any means
You still love me anyway
Though I don't deserve it
When I feel alone
You come and sit with me
When I'm down
You lift me up
Lord, You're perfect
You show mercy
You're slow to anger
You're also patient
Lord Jesus, You amaze me
I cannot get enough of You
You've shown me how to lean on You
When everyone walks away, You're right there
People are missing out who don't know You
They have no idea what You have to offer
I hope that those who are lost come to know You
For You're perfect and so is Your love
You bled and died for me
That is what perfect love is
You are amazing and indescribable
You are much bigger than anything in the world
The world doesn't know You
However, I'm coming to know You
When I'm brokenhearted
You mend my heart back together
Your love is everlasting
Your mercy is new every morning
You give me another chance when I mess up
You never give up on me even if people do
When I'm tired and in need of rest
You come and give me rest
When I'm in need of help
You're right there to lend a hand
When I cry out to You, Lord
You hear me, and listen
Heavenly Father, I thank you
There's not enough thank you's
Grateful that You're the One I can turn to
Thankful for all that all You've done for me
Lord God, You are my everything and so much more
No matter what time it is or where I'm at, You're there
