 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
For whom is God but the Lord,
And a rock save our God;
Who is loved and adored,
Since we honor and laud.

The Lord equipped me with strength,
In making my way blameless;
Persevering any length,
That has made me as shameless.

My feet made same as a deer,
On the heights set me secure;
And so, He made me sincere,
Gave my wickedness a cure.

He trains my hands for battle,
So, my arms can bend a bow;
Steering me from the prattle,
Silence makes my courage show.

He gave me my salvation,
His right hand supporting me;
His peace built my foundation,
Giving the insight to see.

He has given a wide place,
For my feet as not to slip;
Tis soothing feeling His grace,
Assuring me not to trip.

I chased my foes and caught them,
Turned back not until consumed;
Because the Lord did condemn,
Ensured that they were entombed.

Wounded not able to rise,
For they fell under my feet;
Loss of sight I gouged their eyes.
Making a mission complete.

He made my foes turn their backs,
Those who hate me, I destroyed;
They melted like a hot wax,
Their lives now has filled a void.

They cried for the Lord to aid,
But He did not answer them;
For I have made them afraid,
He already did condemn.
