I pray that all may go well,
And you may be in good health;
As well with your soul to dwell,
Because I love in the truth,
As I rejoice greatly since;
The days throughout of my youth;
That the Scriptures do convince.
See about such a great love,
The Father has lavished us;
Constantly flows from above,
Nurtures heart and soul as thus.
Because I rejoice greatly,
When others had testified;
Indeed, you walk so stately,
Speaking of the crucified.
For I have no greater joy,
Than by hearing my nestlings;
By walking as an envoy,
As the spiritual darlings.
For it is a faithful thing,
Doing in all your efforts;
Strangers as they are that bring,
Knowledge how much God comforts.
I testify of your love,
That you hold before the church;
Bearing the witness thereof,
The charity that you search.
You will do well to send them,
On their journey for the Lord;
A worthy manner to stem,
For living in one accord.
For they have gone for the sake,
Of His name accepting nothing;
Giving to others to make,
Them understand and to cling.
Therefore, we ought to support,
These people seeking the truth;
They continue to exhort,
Not to be rude or uncouth.
