Interim Period: Day One

Welcome to nearly free Britain
Now we've got it almost back
Thanks to Dodgy Dave, Theresa
May and Boris the party hack.
Of course,  when it comes to law
We still have to live the Euro way
In which for the next few months
We won't have any input or say

But we've nearly got it back
Apart from what they Privatised,
Railways mostly owned by Europe
Whose own all are still nationalised,
So when it come to that
Our bold sell off adventure
Is helping to finance
Their  state owned venture

Water gas and electricity all
Owned by European  states
But at least not socialist Britain
One of the governments pet hates.
Now when you come to consider
Our industrial base of old
Now defunct  or foreign owned
All bankrupt,  taken over or sold.

350 million a  week to the NHS
Thats what they promised us
We got it in down writing from
The side of  Boris's bus
When we get those promised hospitals
And those extra NHS staff they planned
We really will be once again in
England's green and pleasant land

In the event of any slip-ups
Donald Trump will see us ok
Provided we do as we're told
And in the approved Trump Way
Welcome to newly free Britain
The project they all fervently hailed
Pretty much in the same way shown
Just before The Titanic sailed.
