If you put these things,
Before the brothers;
A good servant brings,
Blessings to others.
When trained in the Word,
Faith and good doctrine;
Mindset what is heard,
Makes good discipline.
Have nothing to do,
With the old wives tales;
Silly myths not true,
Filled with false details.
Train in godliness,
Training with value;
Pure in cleanliness,
Able to construe.
For it holds the hope,
Life for the future;
Trustworthy to cope,
As a new creature.
We toil and strife,
For our hope set;
God in our life,
Living not to fret.
He is the Savior,
Of all the people;
To shine His favor,
All in His temple.
Believe in these things,
Commanded as taught;
The blessing it brings,
The truth that is sought.
Let no one despise,
Because of your youth;
Open up their eyes,
With faith in the truth.
A model for love,
Faith through purity;
Speaking from above,
With maturity.
Meditate on things,
Immersing in them;
Keep watch what it brings,
Straying could condemn.
