What good will it do,
With faith without deeds;
If the faith is true,
Will it fit God’s needs?

You are poorly clothed,
Daily food you lack;
You are surely loathed,
As you being slack.

Go in peace and filled,
God will make you warm;
His Word be instilled,
Scripture to inform.

For faith on its own,
Without works is dead;
God does not condone,
Only faith instead.

You may have the faith,
But I may have the deeds;
Both will have the wraith,
The nightmare that feeds.

Believe that God is one,
Though demons will shudder;
With faith in the Son,
Words of Christ you utter.

Do what you are shown,
Not a lazy fool;
Do as what is known,
Fitting to His rule.

Keep faith as active,
And do what is good;
For the life you live,
Honored as it should.

You are justified,
Not by works alone;
But the crucified,
Your faith will condone.

For you are apart,
The spirit is dead;
With faith in the heart,
Your works will be fed.
