The last Sunset

The march of the night moves on forward
Darkening the land for us all
The light that once offered us redemption
Is now fading till nought shines at all.

I can hear the darkness approaching
Loud screams burn an image I see
millions of souls crying out for forgiveness
For a life they all wish theirs had been…

It is said that some still believe in the daylight
As though they refuse to believe what they know
Holding on to hope that their God is still watching
As the last sunset shares it’s last glow.
