I appeal unto you,
By the mercies of God;
A living that is true,
Sacrificing to laud.
A living sacrifice,
Acceptable to God;
Nothing that will entice,
Causing to become flawed.
Your spiritual worship,
Not conformed to this place;
Rather in fellowship,
Transforms you by His grace.
Be renewed in your mind,
By testing may discern;
The will of God to find,
Blessings that you will earn.
What is considered good,
Suitable and perfect;
Considered what God would,
Accept and not reject.
For grace given to me,
Of themselves not to think;
As what God does decree,
Faith and love not to shrink.
Keep judgment as sober,
With faith that will measure;
For a solid number,
Rewarded with treasure.
There are many members,
Without the same function;
Performs that encumbers,
A complimenting junction.
For one body in Christ,
Joins one of another;
On their own sacrificed,
Complements each other.
Having gifts that differ,
According to His grace;
Proportion to infer,
That Jesus will embrace.
For the one who exhorts,
And who will contribute;
Produces their efforts,
Always paying tribute.
