He is in the image of God,
Who is invisible by sight;
And the firstborn for us to laud,
Of all creation in the light.
For by Him all things created,
Within Heaven and here on earth;
All as good He was elated,
Everything of all its worth.
Visible and invisible,
All things were created by Him;
The Almighty is capable,
The Word through His spiritual vim.
He is before everything,
In Him all things hold together;
And by His Word the Lord shall bring,
Life to all of whom does gather.
Of the body He is the head,
The church He is the beginning;
He is the firstborn from the dead,
Saving us all from the sinning.
For in Him all of the fullness.
Of the Father was pleased to dwell;
Giving His children the sureness,
Of a pathway away from hell.
Through Him reconcile all things,
Whether on earth or in Heaven;
By the blood on the cross it brings,
That salvation has been given.
You were once alienated,
And having a hostile mind;
Evil deeds annihilated,
Someone who was humbled and kind.
For He has now reconciled,
Your body of flesh by His death;
A chance to be His child,
Giving you a new life and breath.
Keep the faith stable and steadfast,
Not shifting hope from the Gospel;
You will then be to ever last,
As you proclaim to the people.
