Hear the Word of the Lord,
All you scoffers who rule;
Let it not be ignored,
That you act like a fool.
You made a deal with death,
With hell in agreement;
Overwhelmed whip of breath,
Satan does complement.
The overwhelming whip,
Comes not for passing through;
While one losing grip,
On all things that is true.
Because we have made lies,
For refuge and falsehood;
Took shelter in disguise,
The way that we have stood.
God is the one who laid,
Foundation in Zion;
A cornerstone that paid,
Shunned like an alien.
As a sure foundation,
To whoever believes;
Assured of salvation,
The justified receives.
God makes justice the line,
Righteousness to plummet;
Hail will sweep the divine,
From lies as a debit.
Waters will overwhelm,
Flow in the hiding place;
Without God at the helm,
Not shielding with His grace.
Your covenant with death,
And agreement with hell;
Shall take away your breath.
Drowning in where you dwell.
The overwhelming scourge,
As you will be beaten;
Because there is a surge,
While you are eaten.
So, do not be mockers,
Lest your bonds be made strong;
No longer as scoffers,
With the Lord you belong.
