I thank God for everything,
In all my remembrance of you;
For all the blessings it does bring,
Of all of the thoughts to construe.
Included in every prayer,
Combining of my prayers with joy;
Ensured everything I share,
Brings grace from God that I employ.
For fellowship in the Gospel,
From the first day until today;
Crucial to spread to the people,
In teaching them how to obey.
Being confident of this thing,
That he who began a good deed;
On Christ Jesus that you will cling,
Who will cater with what you need.
It will bring completion that day,
At the day when Jesus returns;
For it is right to feel this way,
With salvation that someone earns.
Even as it is meet to think,
Because I have you in my heart;
No liquor will I ever drink,
So, I am sober to impart.
For you are partakers of grace,
Inasmuch as both in my bonds;
In defense confirmed to embrace,
The Gospel as one corresponds.
Because the Lord is my witness,
How I yearn with the affection;
Of Christ for spiritual fitness,
Curing me of my affliction.
It is my prayer about your love,
May abound more with His wisdom;
More in knowledge from up above,
Judgment to enter His Kingdom.
You may approve as excellent,
Be pure and blameless for that day;
And you remain benevolent,
Cling to Christ and never to stray.
Fill with the fruit of righteousness,
That is coming through Jesus Christ;
To the glory with blessedness,
Praise the One who was sacrificed.
