SMALL THINGS

~SMALL THINGS~

There is a story of Akbar and Birbal.
Akbar bought very expensive perfume and
wanted to show it to his friend Birbal.
Accidentally a drop of perfume fell
on the floor and Akbar picked up the
fallen pricey perfume with his finger
and rubbed it on the back of his hand.

Birbal could not believe his eyes what
the Emperor of India did with a drop of
fallen Perfume in front of his eyes.

Akbar knew what Birbal had thought.
He had a pool filled up with that very
expensive perfume at a great cost and
invited Birbal to see him swimming
in that pool full of perfume to undo
what Birbal saw and to impress him.

Birbal just smiled and said him softly.
"What you lost by a drop could never
be regained by a pool" and smirked.

Hurt by small things could be like that.
