They came and they killed
Stole our land and our country
Killed our leaders, Englands shame
Eight hundred years of the killing game
The flight of the Earls from Donegal
Bobby Sands we still walk tall
How great our country could have been
They killed our leaders for King and Queen
Cromwell came with his killing agenda
Burned our homes with blood on his hands

Connolly died he was shot in his chair

Cork was burned, Belfast destroyed
Derry's peace walk another fourteen
