Time to Heal
No one can take away your pain,
But please don’t let it drive you insane!
You can survive what has happened to you,
I honestly do believe in you!
Just try putting one foot in front of the other,
Try leaning on a friend .. Try leaning on another!
It’s important for you to know you are not on you own,
Even if there are times when you are feeling so alone!
This pain that is all consuming, will slowly start to go,
Releasing its grip and allowing you to grow!
It’s time to focus on your healing, to focus on you!
It’s time to focus on rebuilding & restrengthening you!
Give yourself permission, now take a deep breath in,
With your next breath out, allow some peace to flow in!
Life will start to feel a little better,
Just take one day at a time.
Don’t sit in the shadows,
Give yourself permission to shine!
