Dark Clouds

There is a shadow over all of us
No matter who we are
It’s taking whether rich or whether poor
Our old and weak are falling
But we hear no Angels calling
Just the sound of death come knocking at your door.

Now we sit and watch the sunrise
Behind our window panes
Scared to feel the sun’s warmth on our face
We are told to keep our distance
And always wash our hands
Life and death could mean a little space?

So for once mankind is halted!
We must all take our foot of the gas
… give the time our planet needs to heal
Dark skies are really forming
And death is always calling
The dark clouds that are forming are for real.
