Twenty + 25

More that 10 years ago, in collaboration with Psixpence we wrote the 5 part poem 20.  The last part, part 6, was never completed as we lost touch.   I have just learned she died some years ago.  In tribute to her talent and memory here is the last part.  Sadly her last verse wil never be seen.  Thank you for working wth me.Psixpence.  It was fun.

Our daughter's twenty two
My Blondie's absolute spit
Our son's twenty four
And he's tall and he's fit
So young when we married
It all happened all so quick
And we've had our rough times
But with love we made it stick

Our Silver Anniversary

Will very soon be here,

And yes, we're still together,
Love grew stronger with each  year;
Our grown up kids are courting

And if they take after us

We could very soon have grandkids

To cuddle, love and fuss!

And i worry about my daughter
Cos i know all about those men
But my Blondie just laughs
And calms me down again
she says we gave them love
now we must give them trust
and she gives that wink that ‘
still fills me with love and lust
