Reset required

How small the earth, how weak,

How frail, how easy germs can

change our ways, from busy, busy,

Can’t stop now’, to stay at home,

No going out.

It isn’t bombs, or men with guns,

It isn’t planes, shot down to plunge

Into the sea, or vastly change,

Fortunes of war, through hate and

Rage.

In terms of time, it took no time,

To span the earth, to change our

Lives, a warning if there ever was,

Reset required, do so at once.

Seats of power reduced in strength,

Our PMs sick, been sent to bed,

Streets deserted, life on hold,

What made them think they’ve

Got control?
