Give thanks to the Lord,
For His steadfast love;
When in one accord,
Endures from above.
Because He is good,
Endures forever;
If done as you should,
Love will not sever.
His mercy endures,
Redeemed by the Lord;
For He reassures,
If loved and adored.
Whom He has redeemed,
Redeemed from trouble;
The hope that is dreamed,
Pulling from rubble.
Gathered from the lands,
From the west and east;
From north He commands,
Honor the High Priest.
Wandered in desert,
With finding no way;
Cities to avert,
That lead you astray.
Their soul has fainted,
From hunger and thirst;
Having been tainted,
That Satan has cursed.
They cried to the Lord,
About their debris;
If He could afford,
Help them to be free.
He delivers them,
Out of their distress;
He did not condemn,
Rather went to bless.
Let them thank the Lord,
For His steadfast love;
Satisfies as poured,
From His throne thereof.
