What shall I render to the Lord, For all His benefits to me; In being so loved and adored, Giving insight so I can see. I lift the cup of salvation, And call on the name of the Lord; Making me a new creation, And for being in one accord. I will pay my vows to the Lord, In the presence of His people; Remaining in one accord, As we gather in His temple. Precious in the sight of the Lord, Is the death of His servant; Everlasting life to afford, Enthusiasm as fervent. O Lord, I a faithful servant, You have loosened my bonds of death; Making the future relevant, Having life after the last breath. I will be offering to you, The sacrifice of thanksgiving; For I call on what I construe, The name of the Lord is living. I will pay my vows to the Lord, In the presence of His people; Show that He is loved and adored, From a faith that will not crumble. I am in the courts of His house, Being with the Lord in His mien; Worship and praising with my spouse, Forgiving all of which has been. Copyright © 2020 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
